Theatrical Thriftage (I gotta lay off the illiterations and puns)

Behold, the pictorials of my wondrous journey to the theater thrift sale. The entire (clothing) cost was only six bucks, and I got a crapload of stuff. So, yeah, I guess you could say I'm set on clothes for the next few months (even though we all know that in a couple weeks I'll probably go out "just to window shop", find something I need/want, find some excuse to get it, and buy it. Alas, the cycle of my growing, mutated dresser).

Anyways, lets get to the loot! For the sake of my tired, callused, jello-y fingers, I'm gonna just say TT for theater thrift. Yup, I'm that lazy. Click to enlarge.
So, look! Enjoy! Comment! Fix yourself a turkey sandwich!

OH MY GOSH. THE FIRST DRESS IS AMAZING. And both sets of shorts. And I love the expression on your face for the little sunglasses pictures, haha.

I think I'm going to start keeping an eye out for theater sales now ;__; I am so jealous. This is better than thrift stores because everything is THEATRICAL and therefore slightly RIDICULOUS! <3

You got the BEST dresses. I want to come steal them from you! Do theatres have sales like that often? Should I scope one out?

Ugh I'm so angry that I didn't go! Goddammit. You'll just have to wear the clothes extra well for my sake. Next time you see Caroline remind her to bring the dress, by the way.

Missie.eng and Clothes horse- Before this, I had never heard of a theater doing such a thing! But if you hear of one, go to it, even if it's out of your way, because it's totally worth it. I have no idea how likely that will be (especially since the theater I got these from is a tad quirky and have their own way of doing things. Right Caroline?) but I think a theater thrift sale will always have a positive outcome, no?

Adri- Glad you appreciate my bizarre sunglasses face. If I were to be smiling I would look somewhat like a diseased cow, so funny face is the way to go for me!

Caroline- Hold those high-waisted pants up! I picked some pieces for you. And as Stephanie reminded me to remind you, next time we throw a wild Family Guy/Monster energy drink party, bring the dress! Meh.

Stephanie- There's an extra motivation! Dress well for Stephanie, will do (and I swear I'm not being sarcastic)!

Urban Audrey- It was at Circle Theatre in Forest Park. I live right smack between FP and the city. I actually first met Caroline, Stephanie's sister, at Circle, which is how I know Stephanie as well. And Goodman is having one??? Pshhhyess! But am I wrong for thinking that it might be a tad expensive...?

Corinne-Yeah, I get that a lot. I just turned 12. And I'm sure you'll be able to find some good stores, you just have to travel around a bit and scope out different places.

those shorts are appallingly cute. honestly, i'm surprised at your fashion sense, it's quite good. you seem cool. i'm twelve years old, you should check out my blog. it's a similar type of blog, but there's no fashion in it. it might seem sort of... depressing. sorry about that, but middle school sucks. i don't know if blogger gives you the link, but here is my blog: www.pessimisticwhispers.blogspot.com
