tons of skulls and black, sooo very springy indeed

Spring wishlists can either be of floral, pastel, light and flowy items that have a spring-like feel; or just a list of stuff you want that you add "spring" to so it looks like you only think about these things 4 times a year! These are things more within my price range I am ACTUALLY considering buying- if not this would be filled with Luella and Margiela (friday night rhymes, heyyynow). Obvz there are always about 27 pairs of tights that I drool over but I have narrowed it down. 1. I really only want these for the sole purpose of two-toning them with my other optic tights and putting those stripe jail cell socks a little over them and omg i will blind uuuu!!!1!!!
2. So pretty, so dreamy. These tights will go beautifully with this purple shirt and many other things in my closet. GIVE NAO.
3. Like I'm not already enough of a japanophile. Just send over the book, fr realz.
4. Though I could never wear these as well as Moohoop they seem incredibly versatile in the white/black.
5. So not only do the designers for Obesity & Speed have a really cool apartment, they make amazing clothes too! Love love love. Guyssss.
6. Before you decide I am some carcass-loving psycho or just have an unnatural love for the cranium, I like these tights because they...actually, I can't think of a legitimate reason other than a late night, sugar-high "tHEY're PREttys!!" Anyway, I'm not giving you guys the link to these or the flowery ones because when I did so with a certain other pair of tights they sold out within a couple of days. Way to not be a dog, guys (because dogs are loyal? That is the saying, or something? Right?) Use google powers if you really want them! If you can't find them that way, you're not smart enough to wear these! Because they clearly scream MUST BE GOOD WITH GOOGLE.

LOL! I have those blue stripey tights, in black as well (I know they are way too amazing, I needed 2). I used them in the outfit contest on weardrobe-- stipe themed outfit.
I've got way too much junk on my spring wish list (thanks Nylon...) Nothing flowery, surprisingly.

i flicked the fruits book a couple of weeks ago at barnes and nobles, but just couldnt justify paying 30 dollars for a paperback. Japan seems amazing though, definetly next country on my list to visit...

Just to warn you, Tavi, I found the skull tights in about 15 seconds, and I swear I wasn't looking for them in particular. (I wasn't even using Google.) But don't worry - I won't be buying them, fabulous though they are!

OMG, you have the ability to sell out stuff? That is keerazy. I pretty much adore Fruits. The only time I've ever seen the magazine on sale was in Collette in Paris, when I was there 2 years ago. So of course I bought it and I still ogle it. Having the book would be a dream.

Skull tights, yes indeed! It might be just me, but I'm always amused by the way Americans seem to emphasise dressing in seasonally-thematic colours. Me, I wear red any chance I get all year round (many of my compatriots would no doubt say the same for black, our National Colour.) (New Zealand, btw.)

Don't waste your $$ on the Fruits book. Not worth it. Check it out at the library then you'll return it.

Hey. That FRUiTS book is full of photos from 1998-1999. One of my good friends is in it and HATES the photo because it shows her old style "decora" and she is now "spank"...and the 1st time she saw the book was on a trip to the USA, she was so surprised and then mortified when she saw her photo. No one really wears that style anymore, the crazy over decorated style...not like that anyway...there is a similar style called Spank, to our western eyes we could say that's pretty similar to decora but if I said that to them (the Spank girls, who are my best friends in Japan) they would laugh their heads off.

Check my blog for some interesting info about Japan, I used to live there and I just got back from a 1 month visit, staying with the Spank girls. I know the Fruits photographers, I know the dropsnap photographers...lots of interesting stuff on my blog for you and other Japanophile's I'm sure.

I love the purple petal tights! They would go very well with that shirt indeed.

^Also the fruits book is loads of fun, outdated though it may be. After all, just wait another 10 years and it'll all be coming back in Japan. . . maybe. My old roommate had that book and I used to spend hours looking through it. I love the matching couples/friends photos.

I wore them a few days ago with a nice little pink dress.
I deffo recommend them, especially as they confused my Theory of Knowledge teacher tremendosely...
