you're the reason i'm a travelin on

Saturday inspiration, because I haven't posted any in a while and will be gone today. Also considering these DIYs I found on Susie's page.
  • Sadly I'm tiring a little of my floral docs as the print makes them much less a pair of shoes you can simply just throw on and more the kind you have to build an outfit around (and I don't have too many clothes that look good with them). To buy: lots of ribbon and tulle and glue
  • Because I need a shirt of Vern in my life like nao.
P.S. Apparently we reached 200 posts with the Inauguration post and I forgot. Here's to 200 more posts of procrastination!

one, ?. two. three. four (i believe the entry was deleted, but i saved a few more and can post those if ye want.) five and six.

Oi vey, first comment! Have you been to that 'customized Docs' website that Susie got that picture from! It's epic, you'd love it.

Wonderful dresses, and I love the tshirt, but didn't pheonix play chris chambers?

I love the second and fourth pictures housing the dresses, most especially the second, what with all those sharp cuts. And the Doc Martens look great all customized and whatnot.

Tavi, I think you should check out the newest Comme des Garcons men's line - it is so freaking good (minus the weird leopard print man-ballerina flats). I've been out of the blogging world for awhile now but I'm still reading yours, keep up the great work dude!

aw, how can you get tired of floral docs? I've been looking for a pair like you have. Printed docs are amazing. The floral ones are very art noveau.

River Phoenix did indeed play Chris, the designer made a t-shirt of every character though (and Vern is my favorite!).

awesome tulle docs! but, i think you should diy it with cool colors of tulle. that's what i would do if i had some docs. maybe like, one color for each foot.......hmmm...

i like you because i can't tell the difference between fashion and art in your posts.

i think that is because fashion IS art. but, i know what you mean, chelsea.
keep in mind, i'm not trying to contradict you or anything but that was just my opinion. :) to me, dance drawings, paintings, fashion, photos, writings, poems, stories, acting, performing, and ceramics; they can all be forms of art.

oh don't do anything to your docs! those are my favorite shoes in the world. plus they don't make them anymore so they are very special indeed. buy some plain ones if you are going to experiment!
