sand

Posting here has been mighty infrequent, partly because I have a bajillion outfits and photos from trips and show reviews I want to post but I don't even know where to start. How ridikalous is that! Or is that MadTV sketch where the dude kept saying "ridikalous" really old by now? Too fourth grade? Do you liiike Mike n' Ikes?
So, these specific photos out of my large inspiration folder seemed to fit together really well and shall serve as Spring and Summer inspiration for me. Hopefully things will pick up here soon and I can actually post my pictures from Tokyo as opposed to staring at them blankly and thinking about how much time it would take to move my hand to the mouse.

The mood here is kind of sandy, fraying, paper mache, squinting your eyes, cold and sunny, scratchy, nude, beige, muted aqua, white.

I read your blog everyday. You talk about Anna Wintour and Burberry, does that mean you support or oppose fur? Because fur is used in fashion a lot, especially for high fashion and designer labels. It would be cool if you did a post about it.
Keep up the good work, Cool Cat.

those are pretty inspirational pics, loving the natural look and the kinda trashy i dont care thingy too. Also, isn't increadible how many brands and designeers have copied the 2.55 chanel design?, i mean the one in your pics on the top, carolina herrera, marc jacobs did it also and many more, uu that bag rules...

For sum reason I can't see the 1st & 4th last picture :-( But from what I can see, the subtle colours, tones, and textures match very well. Thank you, Tavi. P.S I think your mask is on fire?!?!

Please do not do a post about fur. It would prevent the solidification of many backbones.

But I really do love the blog

Why has practically no one commented on the hair?
That two tone hair is amazing! The blue in the kind of colour I want to go next, and the other colour is kind of the shade some of my hair goes when I re dye it.

Your words make me laugh. I think I have a folder with over 600 pictures that I just stare at and refuse to share my loves with anyone. however you are kind and choose to spend your time not wasting it.

I love you tavi more that you love rei.

Great selection of photos.. Slightly dishevelled, in pale-ish colours that contrast with each other. I could imagine the Prada Spring/ Summer 09 (I think?) crumpled fabric pieces. Same nonchalant air.
Unless you included that in one of the pictures that haven't shown up on my computer, in which case I'm probably looking quite stupid now!
