in which i reference not one, but two! teen anthems, gain MASSIVE culture cred; or, fashion epiphany #274; OR, my title is longer than the actual post

Comme des Garcons sweater, $195 on Yoox,
totally reminds me of...

EVERYTHING about this show. But the clothes especially, of course.

Horizontal stripes! Oranges and navy blues! TOTALLY.

Anyone? Bueller...?

Ridonkulously long titles are the way to go every time. Props for the references.

Slashh I could actually live on Yoox...it makes me wish I was fabulously wealthy.

*sigh* being a broke teenager stinks.

Thank you so much for the Freaks and Geeks reference. It made my day.

I've been reading for a while, but rarely comment. But I had to mention that I'm loving all the Freaks and Geeks references lately! So good.

I also watched Ferris Bueller for the first time a few weeks ago. I felt ashamed for having let that go 22 years. Now I'm hip.

So, I was shopping in a thrift store today, and I saw a shirt that totally reminded me of you. I should have taken a picture. If it was my size, I would have bought it and tried to get creative with it...which I'm trying to do more of. It was a muted mint green, with these thready patches at the neckline...in shades of gray and pale pink, I think.

Such an awesome sweater! It sort of looks like the sleeves are pulled in under the green stripe. Almost puffy? Almost.

Hah! I absolutly jump (hitting the back of my heels in my butt - kind of jumps) of joy over your freeks and geeks posts. It's one of the best series ever made, but where I'm from it have magically been erased from....everywhere. No where to be found. So you can imaging why filled with joy! On another topic - the bright eyes song Lime tree's musicvideo kind of got me thinking of you. Am I wrong?

And - I have a crush in Martin Starr. I do not want to fight, but he's mine! :)

One thing that REALLY drives me crazy about YOOX is their styling. They make beautiful clothing look as if they are no better than... Old Navy.

I understand that they have a TON of merchandise but they would sell so much more if they just put the clothes on a model and did some STYLING.

too bad she wore that distusgtingly ill-fited cargo jacket the whole season.

What a amazing link! I totally agree with the sweater and freaks & geeks [one of the best shows ever. immortalised by its unfortunate cancellation. :( ] association. I love the colour blocking of the sweater. snaps for teenage pop culture name drops.

I love that jumper for a girl, though it reminds me more of Bella from Twilight for some reason...

I'm new to this whole fashion blogging thing, only started today! Could you or anyone who sees this point me in the direction of men fashion bloggers? want to get some inspiration for mine. Thankyou! :D

You are seriously my hero for introducing me to Freaks and Geeks! How I've managed to go traipsing around in the universe and not even know that such an awesome show existed, I'm not sure. But that doesn't matter anymore. My life is complete.
