well, this isn't very healthy.

This morning my mom tried to wake me up and I think she asked about breakfast or something. And I was like, "MOM, the jacket." And she was confused. And I was all, "MOM, OH MY GOD, the JACKET, DUH." And SOMEHOW she didn't get it and I remember her laughing and saying "You need to get some more sleep."
And then during class today I realized I was talking about this jacket, thought it was in the laundry basket for some reason, and that my mom was asking about it.
At the time, it was the most OBVIOUS answer to my mom's question. About breakfast.Comme des Garcons Fall 09, get in my possession right now or I may grow [more] insane.

This collection is so amazing, and the weather now is practically screaming for those jackets to be worn. My favorite part though is the incredible shoes!

Funny little story Tavi! I too really love that jacket, but it and breakfast will never go, unless of course your about to have breakfast on a huge country estate after you have been off shooting grouse or something, then it might happen. lol! Loving the leggings or trousers, what ever they are they are awesome!

If I could, I would give it to you. All I could ever do..is find fabric like it and make some sort of replica---but it isn't the same. ;__;

Hehe, funny story though. XD I've done that a few times, except it wasn't about a jacket.

a few months ago i was sharing a bed with my sister .... we were painting the house.
she told me i was laughing in my sleep and so she asked me what i was laughing at and then i turned around and said to her
"the Burberry collection, you need to put the Burberry collection over you darling" and i said it in an English accent!.....but I’m Australian.
fashion dreams are funny for all involved!

ugh that jacket hurts my feelings. The sad part is, i tried it on in the Comme des Garcons store. Stupid $2000 price tag...

oh hey hey tavi hey. this is really funny coz yesterday, i made a little DIY copy of this. i mean, i went to the comme store again last week to look at them for the 10th time, seriously, but i couldn't shell out the $2000 for it. so i went and did it myself. of course it's not as amazing and i feel somewhat ashamed for copying another designer (that's why i've never done DIY posts before this...) but damn i am so happy with it maybe i'll get over my values and post it on my blog!

I love it! 'Mom, the jacket!'

It's about time I discovered your blog, Tavi. Can't believe it took me this long. Now I can't wait to go back and see all your other posts. And I've always loved Comme de Garcons, I love the way they stay true to their roots yet really push their creative envelope.

i saw someone wearing this on the train the other day. it was wildly distracting and totally killed the conversation i was having with ADF. I think he understood though.
