i want some tuna and ohmygod he looks like a neopet

What I wore....Friday? Saturday? Oy vey, who knows. The sweater was a gift from Stephanie, the floral skirt is part of a dress I wore when I was little that I have now attempted to make into a cage thang, the other skirt was my mom's friend's mom's in the sixties, and the belt is a guitar strap. Does the belt not scream 'Camp counselor sandals'? You know the kind.

Zero dollar outfits, how I love you.

Haha, neopets, brings back memories.

and you are completely right, you can just cut squares in a skirt to make it like a cage.

its awesome.

Tavi, you're what...4 years younger than me? And your style is amazing. I wish I dressed like that when I was your age. You're an inspiration. :]

Zero dollar outfits never looked so good! I love when you cut the squares out of skirts, and I really love that belt! I know precisely what you're talking about, I actually had some of those sandals way back.

I've never commented on your blog before but have been reading for a while and you made me laugh out loud with the "camp counselor sandals" aside about your belt! It's totally true, but in an ironic/awesome way!

if i look at your skirt too long, i get spots in my eyes. and for that belt/ imigined shoes, i think the counsilor is from australia, or wales, or those other less importent english speaking countries whose main expost seems to be camp counsilors.

You are holding the mascot doll fro winter olymics in Lillehammer 1994, her name is Kristin. Have you ever been to Norway? Do you speak Norwegian?

Tavi said...

Yes! I was hoping someone would find that. My mom is from Norway and she and my dad got her when they were visiting years ago. We also have the boy, I believe his name is Christian, or something along the lines of that? I don't speak Norwegian as fluently as I would prefer, but I've been lucky enough to visit a few times and my Mom speaks it to me quite frequently. Not very fluent but good enough to survive in and find my way around around Norway for a month.

Tavi said...

Oh, my bad, his name is actually Haakon.

sorry has been recycled but basically it was an article about blogs and it had some recommendations and just said something like "an original style savvy ____ year old writing about her daily wears" or something like that!
but the telegraph is the biggest newspaper in the UK.

Whats your favorite norwegian word and food?

Tavi said...

Word? Hmmm...mojstompt...I spelled that wrong, but it means fun. Food? Either the waffles, chocolate, or wild raspberries we used to pick at my bestfar's old cottage...

Lill-Veronica Skoglund said...

I usually don't like fashion blogs, or blogs with "outfit of the day" and such, but you are way cool!

Oh, and is that a Kristin doll from the 94 olympics? :B
