Caught a trucker outta Philly, had a nice long toke

Home sweet home! The trip was a lot of fun but it is nice to be back. I do actually have some interesting stuff to share (mostly about other bloggers, as a matter of fact) so read on! And brace yourselves!
Just in case this creeped you out, I know Caroline personally. No stalkers here!

So yeah, guess that's it! I missed you all, though I did find time now and then to do a little writing both on the blog and on my face. Have a great day, folks!

Oh wow, that looks like such an amazing trip! I love all of your outfits; the belted patterned trousers are especially cool.
And that pic of "Clothe Horse" is amazing! I need to visit it some day...
The picture of you and the Playmobile (best toys ever!) character might be my favorite...

I'm still pretty sure that you're better than friends I have that are my age - and ten times funnier. Class A humor, you = amazing. Times a million.

Plus some Nesquik, cupcakes and ice cream, and yes - Kathleen Turner is such a dude in Serial Mom, isn't she?

Next time you go to NY, take me with you.

Lucky girl! :)

This entry's amusing! Especially when you had fun watching lights reflect off from the bald guy's head. :P I like your vest in the fifth photo. :)

Thanks for your amazing comment! It's stuff like this that really boost my day and makes me think I am not wasting my time as a writer/blogger!
Seriously, Neutral Milk Hotel changed the way I see music. Before then I sort of listening to whatever was popular or my sister's castoff 90's albums. But from the second I heard "Two Headed Boy" it was like opening floodgates. Every band I've discovered since then can be directly traced back to that album.
PS- Thank you to your sister!

That's awesome. Lily Allen is slightly "eh" for me. I'm just baffled by all these scrawny white British girls with the voice of Aretha Franklin/Billie Holliday all of the sudden.

Not an ounce of creeptasticness there! hannah21unsqur

Tavi,
It was phenomenal to meet you in person. I told Elizabeth that I felt like asking you for your autograph. We are your biggest fans. Come back to nyc soon! And don't forget to write. J.P.
P.S.: What should my next shades be? I need ideas!

mmm, i used to live in saratoga and that record shop is phenomenal. did you get a chance to go to the racetrack?

Ours Poetica said...

hey, i've been there too, yo! those ARE demon ducks and that record store IS pretty sweet, if a little overpriced. i bought a guns n' roses cassette there once.

in another small-world twist of fate, i went there with a kid who happens to be who you immediately reminded me of, and who also happens to be woody allen and mia farrow's son, who also happen to be people you've been told you look like. you sure you know who you're real parents are? just something to think about...
