Oh, I love that Missoni ad. Although, if I look at it for too long, the size and color of her lips starts to freak me out a little bit. Like right now, I'm typing this and glancing into her eyes every once in awhile, and I feel a little creeped out.
Blythe dolls creep me out but some people actually form like a subculture around them and make custom clothes which is pretty cool I guess but I'd rather make clothes for myself.
I'm not into florals much or long wavy hair. ;___; I'm just definitely not a 70s person. I barely own like one pair of flared jeans...I've sewed all of the rest straight. >.>;
great photo collection! love the muted colours, and the doll is pretty scaareeey! saw an episode of 2around the twist" when I was little, and I still get the creeps out of it when I think about dolls like that.
Great photos! The missoni is pretty awesome... That doll really scares me! Good selection though. Loving the seventies vibes and wavy hair... ^.^ www.theclothespress.blogspot.com
The remarkable post in the spirit of that time, yes yes it very much transfers atmosphere of those years!!! It is interesting to come back to it now, as in a time machine)))
Love the blythe doll! I have one of my own, and she'd lovely in all her mod glory. Great pictures, thought they aren't from an era I adore, they're still quite inspiring.
I am writing to you, to thank you. for being your lovely eccentric self. I am sure you feel, that is some small ways, you have sold parts of you soul to this thing we call fashion. And have barely figured anything out about life. But, in my eyes, you are victorious in being what we all secretly dream of, being truly & utterly ourselves. You are a pioneer and a heroine to big 22 year old girls, like myself, who are just beginning to figure all these silly things out, unlike your precocious 14 year old self.
I appaluded your noble do goodings in my 100th post blog reflection today. www.thatwhichwecalllife.blogspot.com but wanted to thank you publicly.
very nice mood you created, though i was a bit creeped out by the fact that i apparently know nothing about life (and that my prename is a girl's name in the US) ^____^ didn't know that tv show; personally i'm more of a "Bundy bunch"-guy ;)

Well thanks for the memory, saltwater tavi. you made me cry. ~ waah! j/k I cry all the time and you probly don't even get down this far in your comments. either way thanks for the great picture of ~ BLYTHE ~ *haha that was a trip. all your photos are coming out grreeeaat of late too!!! ok just sayin'.
