Bjork! She's so adorable and so out there..I love some of her music. I also love that a character I cosplay from a videogame was blatantly inspired by her... XD She's just too rad~
I look forward to see what you put together for winter outfits! :D
I am a fashion design student and at the moment working on a collection inspired by sea creatures and I love those jellyfish - I think they're called sea nettles. I love how they are so quietly evil... really sinister like watching a scary movie with the sound turned down. Anywayz just trying to convert them and their ocean friends into fashion garments.... hopefully will come up with rad stuff. Thanks for your inspiration/moodboards they're great. www.winnsomesmile.blogspot.com
I like that Bjork picture, but I like the picture under it even more. It's really natural (with the setting/colours/textures), but the very strong composition really holds the intensity. And I always like seeing smaller people wearing interesting garments :-))
I'm fairly sure I haven't commented on your blog before, but I had to when I saw Bjork! I'm Ash :)
I'm not sure if you've seen it (you may have, it's been viral in the past) but there's this gorgeous video of her describing how a TV works. I posted it on my blog, thought you would enjoy it :)
haha! when I read the title, I started singing Bjork song! Great times... oous :) The outfint from yesterday was so inspiring; I even started designing, and I drafted some sketches:) with tiered long skirts and rounded shoulder blouses. next time I´ll show them. :) love Tonio
yo tavi, just wondering, what do you think of h&m's collaboration with lanvin? full collection out tomorrow on website, susie bubble's got some previews up too... I think the promo vid is amazing, bit creepy aphex twin/the shining style in places. just wondered what you thought?
one of the most inspiring things i've seen in a long time: http://www.flickr.com/photos/willemvelthoven/5284193/
might be of interest. there's a large campaign behind it, basically criticizing how even the most liberal socities keep quiet about abortion - it's not illegal, but one shouldnt talk about it either. the dream bag dress reminded me of this one.
This post is so different for you. It's to Gray and sorry but soet of boring, But I do likt the picture with the TV it gose with the preschool vibes I've been having lately.
The lighting of the first photo is so interesting. It reminds me of the witch in Narnia. Its kind of an icy, cold look, especially with the hair. Lovely photography.
you've just put two things i LOVE in life - Björk and Comme des Garçons - in the same editorial. the 'new' Kristen Mcmenamy is amazing. i adore the way she subverted the idea that grizzly hair is ugly and for elder people. and i have this Björk's dvd. it's Vessel and documents a concert in early 90's Debut era.
Can't put my finger on it, but lately all of your posts seem a bit spooky...maybe it's because you're starting to be a teenager and have all kind of swisted thoughts..don't know...
I've loved Kristen for so long...since her grunge eyebrowless days!
