WAT?! YES! So I guess this means Comme Des Garcons finally showed. I've been waiting to view their collection since before NYFW. Cool. And that's a really interesting comparison, and totally relevant as well in my opinion.
hahah!! It's just like Comme des Garcons clothing to have the weird and the creepy come together and makes something great!! I love this line and the movie the shining is a personal horror favorite of mine :).
http://www.madelinesongs.com/store.php The song Seeing Double on the album Kissing and Dancing is what I imediately thought of when I read the title of this post (for obvious reasons). I'm also pretty sure you'd enjoy Madeline's voice.
I've wanted to post a coment for awhile. I'm 15. I love everything about you. Be my best friend?
This is a total non sequitur comment. I apologize. I suspect you've already heard Helium, but if you haven't, they might be right up your alley. I love Mary Timony in this video... I remember seeing it when I was very young, and not being sure if I was afraid of her or if I wanted to be her. My feelings haven't changed much.
Oh that's really cool. Good that you didn't put the Lohan "twins" picture, that would have been a bit.. cheapy? But these are on stylish twins I must say! Check my blog is you got any time :) All the best & manymany ideas, G.

When I saw the Kawakubo's show I thought to the Conjoined twins too and I was a bit frightened from this similitude... Inf act this outfit is a bit "terrific" and the link to the horror film is obvious!!!
However I love the creativity of CdG and, by the times that CdG appears on your blog, I think that you, also, like this brand!!
Tavi, I very much like to read your blog! It is fine! You are very talented! I wish you successes in life! You have inspired me and now I conduct the blog, here it: http://thestylishdreams.blogspot.com/
Haven't visited for a while and it's always such a joyous ocassion to return and see what you've been up to! Swing by to visit us again - we've been finding films and things that people have made with our clothing in it... I think you'd like.
These remind me of Diane Arbus' photo of twins. http://diane-arbus-photography.com/ Maybe it's symmetry that attracts us? I don't know but to me twins are endlessly fascinating.
I love your blog and fierce approach to fashion at such young age. U are truly inspiring.
I think you are gonna love this follow up on your idea. Conceptual poster for The Shining by Moxy Creative http://moxycreative.com/dressthepart/shining.html
