I literally just blogged yesterday about my Pop Mag with your cover finally landing in my hands and the Russh ish with Daul and now this....I'm gutted.
The loss of Daul Kim is so sad . . . it is tragic when someone so young thinks that whatever is going on in their life is a reason to end their life. She was lovely and a gifted model. Wish she had reached out to someone so we would still have her with us. For the rest of Tavi's younger reader know that NOTHING is so bad in life that it is worth ending your life.
Devastating loss. I frequented her blog and you can tell that she had a dark place inside of her, but i am so shocked and saddened that she ended her own life - suicide is NEVER the answer!

i know this is a post about daul but since death comes in multiples,,,,,, rip jeanne claude while i am not always in agreement with their work, their installations should definitely be commended for their originality.
Sometimes the world can seem so cruel Daul, and I wished you didnt let it get to you and gave it up. You have years ahead of you to discover that there's more sides to life. Life is never meant to be always be rosy, but it's not all bad either. The bad makes you appreciate the good more really. But I dont live your life so I cant expect to know how hurt you must have been.

Just awful. I've had the pleasure of doing Daul's make-up on a few runway shows in London and she was one of my favorites. Incredibly beautiful, very patient and professional, such wonderful qualities which made her a joy to work with.
