to those that ask: my titles are usually song titles or inside jokes or awful puns or answering questions like this

I wrote about Queen Michelle's Borders & Frontiers shirt before (have a few other blogger tees that have come out since to write about too) and mine came yesterday! The design is a picture of her uncle Billy and the word "TRUE," and you can read about it here because I would probably end up putting my foot in my mouth trying to say something intelligent about it and there's already lots of yummy chocolate taking up space in there. And a cavity.
This isn't what I wore it with to school because I was recently diagnosed with Never Wakes Up On Time Because I Go To Bed Too Late Due To Procrastination Disorder Hi Teachers That Recently Found Out About Blog Don't Worry I'm Typing Your Paper As I.. Type Syndrome. Today I was a good blogger and wore it with tights and Docs and a plaid shirt, and when I got home wore it with the military blazer everyone is also buzzing about. Yeah, FML. I'm losing inspiration.
Oho, I did wear this to the eyeglasses place though. I tried on pretty round ones that made me look like Harry Potter and sparkly ones that made me look like Dame Edna. I don't know what I want but the ones I have now are so very 3rd grade BOB CHEESE RANDOM MONKEYS (wink to person that knows what that means. In fact, lots of what I put on here are tiny winks to special people. So if you think I'm losing my mind when I say something completely irrelevant, I'm being an exclusive bully. But I'm losing my mind, too).
Speaking of Bob Dylan, GUESS WHO IS SEEING HIM JULY 1ST. Actually, no one was talking about him, so allow me to seem less obnoxious and make it relevant with these epic paper clothes at MoMu in Antwerp.AGH so pretty. Also like a portable writing pad. Cause, you know, you normally can't move writing pads. They're stationary like evil P.E. bikes.

  10. i love bob dylan. i've seen him 3 times now & unfortunately he's one of the most disappointing performers i've ever seen. i guess i thought he'd be all 1962 live at the gaslight but instead he's all 2009 creepy old guy moaning. tell me what you think though, i'm interested to see if i'm the only one (well, only one besides my boyfriend & mom). i hope i didn't burst any bubbles or anything, i just feel like i need to warn you so it isn't shocking - like how it was for me the first time i say him.

  13. Bobby D.! Love him! I saw him live in the Summer of 2007 at Ottawa Bluesfest, and I'm not gonna lie, I was disappointed. Apparently his performances are really hit or miss these days? I hate to be a downer though, so here's hoping you see a hit!!!

  14. It's great that you are going to see Dylan. Hopefully his performance will be a hit, but even if it isn't,you would have regretted missing it.

Lol- you're funny! I think every blogger has been a victim of the plaid shirt doc combo :) If you're losing inspiration, what's going to happen to the rest of us who rely on you!

  18. Haha Tavi I am assuming the title may have been directed towards me but maybe not ? I am a huge dylan fan as well and have heard similar concert reports。。go for sure though! (Not that you were considering otherwise :))

  19. Hiiii Tavi, so happy for you!!!!! I am going to buy the Queen Michelle shirt after seeing it on you. Where did you get the military coat? Is it for sale or anything because I loooove it. The structure makes it look a little Margiela.

Must be so exciting for you, about Bobby Bob Bob. Apparenly he wasn't that good when he came to my city, but I wasn't there so what do I know.

  25. You beat me to the Ann D dress on Weardrobe!! *shakes fiiist*

Ahem, uh, anyways, that wasn't the only reason why I'm commenting. In referring to your haircut post, I love Supercuts! I got my current haircut there. Seriously, they are better than lots of expensive salons. Mine doesn't have magazines though. :( Looks great!

And I feel like I've been losing inspiration too, for the past month or so. I think this has to do with not buying new things. Which may say something when my creativity is driven by material acquirement. *shifty eyes*

  28. you're new hair looks wicked Tavi.

i dont think i could pull of the paper clothes thing, i dribble or spill far too frequently and i dont think the dress or coat would survive a quick wash in my washing machine... maybe i could use tipex to cover up where i spilt, or white paint? humm maybe i can just dream :-d

  29. that bod dylan dress would look perfect on you, with your new hair

  44. These dresses are among the most amazing creations that I have EVER seen. Let me emphasize that a bit. Before finding your blog (and I won't go gaga over it because I'm sure you get that a lot) my enthusiasm over fashion was at a record low. You've managed to compile some pretty talented artists who clearly have interests in more than just clothing. That's so refreshing, as my feelings toward fashion had become stale and apathetic due to suburbia and one particularly standard deli uniform.

Thank you, and have a lovely day.

    :)
