  11. Hello Tavi! I was reading stylecaster and in one of their posts they were interviewing a fashion blogger. When asked what her favorite blogs were, one of the names she listed was yours. She said: “how cool is Tavi? Seriousely, I want to hang out with her.” Here’s a link: http://www.stylecaster.com/blog/2008/11/Confessions-Of-A-Web-Stalker-Sea-of-Shoes/675
You may already be aware of this, but I thought I’d tell you just in case.

And in other news, (I’m not quite sure how to say this without sounding like an over-enthusiastic fangirl, but…) you’re awesome, as is your blog!

  12. Whoops! Forgot to give the credit link.
Blanca Segura-That's tough...I don't think I'll try for a career in fashion, but at this point in time I would love to be either a teacher, screenwriter, or actress...geez pretentious much? I get asked it quite often so I think I'll just do an FAQ eventually and be more elaborate then.

  13. The last and second to last are my favorites.
But I really just like all the dark, or smudged ones.
theyre more vague and mysterious, and leave a lot to the mind.

  14. Thanks, Tavi. I was curious...I'm sure you'll do many interesting things. You already are!

Have you looked at the work of photographer Cindy Sherman? If not I'll bet you'd enjoy it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6MyCErU2Y0

Her aesthetic reminds me a bit of yours, plus she's quite good at taking her own portraits...

  21. Lina Scheynius' work is captivating! The way she captures everyday moments with such raw emotion is truly inspiring. Her photography feels like a visual poem. Anyone else get similar vibes playing Moto X3M ? That game's speed and intensity have a similar visceral feel. Thanks for sharing, I'm now a fan!

  22. Thanks for sharing Cindy Sherman's work! Her staged uncanniness totally vibes with how FNAF blends horror with performative identity – both peel back layers of artificial personas. Love how she controls her own narrative through self-portraits, much like animatronics hiding stories behind static smiles. Inspiring stuff; it reframes how we see vulnerability in staged art. Will definitely dive into that link!

  23. Absolutely agree! Cindy Sherman’s way of exploring identity through staged photos reminds me of the unexpected connections you can find on platforms like Omegle. It’s fascinating how anonymous chats can reveal honest, hidden sides of people, much like her art peels back layers. Great discussion—really makes you think about performance and authenticity in different spaces!

  24. Scheynius, a name whispered in photographic circles, eh? Her work feels like peeking through a dusty window, doesn't it? I always found her lens strangely intimate. It reminds me of a time my old hard drive crashed, losing years of photos. A digital void, mirroring that feeling of something precious vanishing. Talk about a real love tester situation when remembering those lost memories! I miss those images.
